Kimmre launched in 2016 offering dedicated “sheds and beds” consultancy advice. The name Kimmre is derivative of Kimmeridge Real Estate. Kimmeridge Bay on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset was the inspiration for the company name. Kimmeridgian clay runs under the English channel and up into the Burgundy region of France, giving Chablis its unique terroir.

Kimmre grow the industrial and logistics team with their first recruit. Mike Needham joins from CBRE as salaried partner in late 2016. The team outgrow their first office on South Molton Street and relocate to a flag ship head office at 6 Cavendish Square.

Kimmre expand with the recruitment of Josh Beebee from Cushman & Wakefield, as salaried partner to diversify the business into the office market.

The business recruit their first graduates in 2018 with Charlie Moulton and Theo Quarendon joining from Oxford Brookes University. Both go on to pass the Assessment of Professional Competence first time maintaining a 100% pass rate for the business.

The Hotels, Leisure and Alternatives team expand with the addition of Rory Turner joining as an Associate Partner from Cushman & Wakefield and the office team grow with the addition of Max Clynes also joining from Cushman & Wakefield as Associate Partner.

Kimmre launch the Grapevine news circular at the start of the C-19 pandemic to keep clients and agents abreast of the latest property related news. The team also take client entertainment and fund raising virtual with a 5,000 mile virtual bike race from Cavendish Square to the Caspian Sea, raising over £10,000 for good causes.

The business continues to grow through the C-19 pandemic with the recruitment of Russell Nimmo as salaried partner from Cushman & Wakefield to strengthen the Industrial and Logistics team. Hugo Clarke bolsters the office team joining from Capital Real Estate Partners as Associate Partner. Harriett Cundy further strengthens the office team joining as a surveyor from Axa.

Kimmre buck the trend by moving into their new, larger HQ office on Wigmore Street, having outgrown the previous space on Cavendish Square. The new HQ building sets the business up for its continued aspirational growth plans. The team further expand, recruiting Irina Prishchepa, Naveen Kumar and Josh Hammett
